Abstract : Means looking to study the calendar in the Arabian Peninsula in the period from the tenth century BC to sixth century AD, The discussion dealt with types of calendars include Calendar stellar, and lunar calendar and solar calendar, also included the study highlighted the words and patterns on the calendar: as today, both the night and day, and the word month who knew the word Lorch, and the year I knew the word rant. This was followed by a study of some problems related to the calendar in the Arabian Peninsula, including: Do not use the Arabs to evaluate the constant, it was found that the Arabs have used different methods to history, and also appeared with different names such as calendar calendars Humairi in the South, Greyhound Calendar in the north. One of the problems addressed by the research as well as disagreement about the sequence of kings resulting from the lack of a fixed calendar dating him. The research has included presentation of some of the events and the days chronicled famous by the Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula, where the history of their habits and leave emergency incidents incidents that preceded it, and finally the letter included the link between cultural aspects and time, which appeared in some economic aspects such as agriculture, herding and trade, as well in some respects religious Kalebadp: included Hajj festivities and banquets, and other matters related with the time to clarify some of the inscriptions upon the function. The research has come to several conclusions, including: the sun, moon and stars were the measurement tools that can be said to be first adopted by the Arabs in the knowledge of the time, and also the presence of history, shows the Arabs to recognize the value of recording events and the perception of history, has emerged through some of the inscriptions that the Arabs were times Itrqubunha Kalmwasm religious and agricultural festivals, as well as all this shows that they understand the value of the time. Finally, the recommendations pertaining to the subject of evaluation is that there will be a comprehensive study of inscriptions and extract what is a historian of them, and collected in one author.
